North Grill

North Grill - Persian Restaurant Photography in Toronto

This project was created for North Grill, a neighbourhood Persian restaurant in Toronto serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including sandwiches alongside traditional Persian dishes. Positioned as an affordable, everyday dining option, North Grill needed photography that could work across three different channels at once: an updated menu, promotional advertising, and ongoing social media content.

The shoot covered the full range of the restaurant's offering, from breakfast items to sandwiches to classic Persian plates, with lighting and styling adjusted to suit each meal period. Breakfast dishes were shot with a brighter, fresher feel, while lunch and dinner plates leaned into warmer tones that highlight the comfort and heartiness of the food. Because North Grill's value proposition centers on quality food at accessible prices, the photography was also designed to communicate generosity and freshness, key visual cues that reinforce good value in a customer's mind before they even read a price.

The resulting images give North Grill a flexible library it can draw from for print menus, paid ads, and daily social media posts, without needing a new photoshoot for every campaign. For a restaurant competing on both price and quality, consistent, professional imagery across every touchpoint helps build trust and encourages repeat visits, something especially important for all-day dining spots that see customers at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
